CAMP SHIBBOLETH: FLEXIBLE WEB-BASED AUTHENTICATION AND AUTHORIZATION
(June 25-27)

OVERVIEW
This CAMP will offer concrete practice and real-world experience from
institutions running Shibboleth in production for controlling access to
both on- and off-campus services. The workshop will focus on a three-
stage implementation process including using Shibboleth as a campus Web
single sign-on system, extending it for authorization use, and using it
as federation software. Additionally, this CAMP will offer:
* A track for those institutions new to Shibboleth in addition to
management and technical tracks for those that have more experience
with the software.
* Cohort discussion breakouts to work through a readiness assessment,
with the opportunity to plan next steps with peers.

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR YOU?
* This workshop is designed for higher education IT managers, project
managers, middleware architects, and systems analysts involved at a
technical, management, or stakeholder level in supporting Web-based
services.

ADVANCED CAMP: SCALING SECURE COLLABORATION (June 28-29)

OVERVIEW
This exploratory CAMP will bring together experts from organizations
such as the Kuali Foundation, Grids Community, and Sakai--as well as
experienced campus representatives--to identify, clarify, and
coordinate next steps to support collaborative activities within and
among the higher education community. The focus will be on identity and
access management services, such as federated authentication and
group/privilege management, and their integration with applications and
application suites, as well as policy issues surrounding scaling secure
collaboration.

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR YOU?
* The exploratory nature of this workshop is ideal for central
campus IT strategists, technology architects, and those in related
leadership roles.
