TRAINING FOR THE CIO AND DIRECTORY ARCHITECT
Modeled after the Enterprise Directory Implementation Roadmap
 <http://www.nmi-edit.org/roadmap/directories.html>, the workshop reviews
directory implementation steps in a highly focused forum for learning
and discussion.

The program is tailored to two key campus IT figures--the CIO and the
directory architect.
* CIOs will focus on management and policy issues, such as financial
and staff planning and campus buy-in.
* DIRECTORY ARCHITECTS will focus on implementation and technology,
touching on such topics as directory architectures, person
registries, and operational issues.

To maximize program value, event organizers recommend that institutions
send the two individuals who best match the CIO and architect roles.

PRE-WORKSHOP TUTORIAL ON IDENTITY MANAGEMENT
An introductory workshop for institutions planning to implement an
identity management project will be offered on February 3, preceding the
CAMP Directory Workshop (separate registration required). Participants
will learn about the components of an identity management
infrastructure, including enterprise directories, and leave with enough
knowledge to attend the CAMP Directory Workshop. Attendance is limited,
so sign up today.

CAMP SPONSORS
CAMP is sponsored by the National Science Foundation Middleware
Initiative-Enterprise and Desktop Integration Technologies
(NMI-EDIT) Consortium: EDUCAUSE, Internet2, and SURA.
