Dear colleagues:

The deadline for submitting proposals for the Fall 2003 Member Meeting has 
passed.  Many of you responded with terrific submissions -- while the 
Program Committee has yet to make the selections it's clear the Fall 
meeting program will be extremely good!  If you or a colleague has been 
considering a submission but didn't get it in by yesterday's deadline, 
please let me know as soon as possible, and no later than Friday.  The 
Program Committee begins its deliberations next week, and it's worth making 
sure that all good ideas are available for their discussions.
