Dear Colleagues:

A Call for Proposals for track and poster sessions at the Fall 2002 Member 
Meeting in Los Angeles, October 27-30, is now available for response.  The 
Program Committee is seeking submissions on a wide range of topics, 
focusing particularly on advanced applications within and across 
disciplines, emerging technologies and their impacts on research, learning 
and teaching, and integrating advanced technologies into a coherent 
architecture.  The location of the Fall meeting in Los Angeles and hosted 
by the University of Southern California also affords opportunities to 
focus on communications sciences and multi-media applications.
