The Middleware Architecture Committee for Education
Directory (MACE-Dir)
working group is now seeking an additional part time staff member to
accelerate its work on standards and best practices for meta
directories.  This position will be responsible for developing
standards and best practices for meta directory services
infrastructure.  Experience in designing and implementing directory
services infrastructure at her/his home institution is essential to this
position.  Ideally the candidate will also bring experience in
directory enabling major applications, or integrating commercial
applications with the enterprise directory.  The position offers
professional development opportunity to both the institution and the
individual to participate in interesting and leading activities at the
national level.  This position is a .25 FTE for 3-6 months based at
the candidate’s home institution, which will be reimbursed for the
release time devoted to this project.  A position description is
