The Internet2 mace-dir-groups working group, also under the auspices of
the NSF Middleware Initiative, has released a public discussion draft of
a working document entitled "Practices in Directory Groups".
Please feel 
free to take advantage of this document to help stimulate discussion of
this topic. 

Readers are especially encouraged to provide detailed feedback, positive
or negative. It is envisioned that mace-dir-group members will discuss
all feedback received and then produce a revised version of the document
that better represents the state of the art.
