Greetings,

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! I am reaching out for your input on a potential training opportunity for aspiring cybersecurity students that was sent in the August student newsletter.

This training is designed to support students pursuing a career in cybersecurity through the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity Prep certification course. It is offered in collaboration with the University of South Carolina.
 
This potential opportunity is tentatively scheduled to take place from December 16-20, 2024, and January 6-10, 2025, with 8-hour days. The training will be conducted virtually, and participants will have access to hands-on lab components delivered through a virtual training platform called NetAcad. Credentials will be provided for access to the platform.
 
Upon completion of each of the 6 courses, you will earn micro-credentials and receive a digital badge for LinkedIn in early January 2025.
