Technology Showcase - In an exciting international collaboration, NTT, in cooperation with NHK, is showcasing Super Hi-Vision Video over IP transmission technology in collaboration with partner R&E Networks including JANET, DANTE and Internet2. Representatives from NHK Science and Technology Research Labs, NTT Network Service Systems Labs, JANET, and Internet2 will be available for questions. Stop by the showcase on Tuesday from 9:00am-6:00pm in Salon V. Cross Atlantic Alternative Energy Debate - Watch Sixth Form students from Oaks Park High School in London debate alternative energy policies with Scotia Genville High School in New York State live on Tuesday at 9:00 AM outside of Salons B/C. This debate, organized and delivered by NYSERNet, Internet2, and JANET, is a wonderful example of how advanced R&E networks worldwide are opening up unprecedented international collaboration opportunities for students, their families, and communities. These opportunities are created by the work of the Internet2 Member Meeting Program Committee, which has responsibility for creating the main program at each meeting. The Program Committee is charged with developing the Call for Session Proposals and the subsequent evaluation and selection of member meeting sessions.
