First General Session
First General Session, Tuesday, April 19, 10:30-11:45AM: Internet2 welcomes Leslie Daigle, Chief Internet Technology Officer at the Internet Society (ISOC) as the meeting's First General Session speaker. Ms. Daigle will present on the very critical and timely subject of global IPv6 adoption and the associated challenges that ISOC is helping to address. The General Session will also feature the 2011 Rose Award announcement. Full program information is available online.

Member meeting attendees value the social networking and face-to-face interactions that take place during our meetings. The Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening, April 19, 6:00-7:30 PM, is a great way to share interests, launch informal collaborations, or renew existing ones. Blair Levin, one of the authors of the FCC National Broadband Plan, will offer some remarks to the community at this reception as well.
