Fall 2011 Internet2 Member Meeting: Collaborations & Connections
The Fall 2011 Internet2 Member Meeting is less than a week away! It’s time to once again leverage our strengths and pool our resources to shape the future of advanced research and education networking. And to underline the importance of community in reaching our goals, this fall we join with our host, MCNC, operators of the North Carolina Research and Education Network (NCREN), to help them celebrate their annual NCREN Community Day. Building on “The Path Forward, Envisioning Opportunities,” theme of the Spring 2011 Member Meeting, the focus is again on the strategic areas that have become priorities for our community, but this fall’s sessions zero in on how we can use our collective efforts to meet the significant challenges we face and propel our community into the future.
Thanks to the outstanding job done by the Program Committee, and our members, this year’s meeting will feature 80 sessions; 74 BoF, SIG and Working Group Meetings; and all of the opportunities to connect with the friends and colleagues who this meeting brings together.
