11/1—Two Programs!
Share your choir’s talents in this informal adjudication offered by the Opera Company of Philadelphia. There’s no need to perform an opera chorus for this, but please select a musical piece that highlights the chorus’s talents. Selections should
be no longer than 5 minutes. Each ensemble will be judged on tone, intonation, diction, technique, balance, interpretation, musical effect, and more. Judges will include Opera Company of Philadelphia Artistic Administrator Michael Eberhard, Opera Company of
Philadelphia Chorus Master Elizabeth Braden, and respected Philadelphia voice teacher, conductor and singer, Holly Phares.

and…
Baritone Troy Cook, Opera Company of Philadelphia Artistic Administrator Michael Eberhard, and vocal coach and collaborative accompanist Lisa Harer DeCalvo with work with a select group of singers in 10 minute increments to coach them on improving
pieces which they are planning to use in upcoming auditions. Here is a unique opportunity for young singers to gain insight into what works best for them and what catches the attention of opera companies.
