That's not legal SAML. You need to look at the spec for what NameIdentifiers
contain, and see what, if any, Format applies to your use case. In general,
though, splitting the domain off has not been productive in most cases.

What you're trying to do is unlikely to be interoperable, and that makes it
somewhat useless without some context for what you're attempting to do.
