Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not too hopeful that we will be able to
resolve the issues we are encountering w/ WebSphere in the timeframe that
the project that I'm on dictates. Parts of WS's core webservice components
broke when we replaced the xerces/xalan/xml-apis package that they had under
the endorsed library (which came as part of the 6.0.2.9 refresh pack) with
the ones needed for openSAML. We are looking at other deployment options for
the time being.

As far as the new release not supporting 1.3, I thought that the openSAML1.1
project was frozen and that there would be no new releases? If you were
implying the next release of openSAML2.0, has it come out of beta yet?

I think you should reconsider trying, because the upcoming release is not
going to support 1.3. So you're asking to get stuck on orphaned code, which
is not a good thing. Just my two cents.
