Hi all,

I tried to use the SHA256 algorithm for digital signatures and after
downloading and installing a third party Java security provider (Bouncy
Castle) it mostly worked.

I say 'mostly' because there still is a digest inside the SAML which
is done with SHA1 and I could not find a way to make this one use
SHA256.

What is the significance of this digest? Is there a way to force it
to SHA256?
