OpenSAML user discussion

Hello:

I am interested in learning more about OpenSAML's capabilities.

With the understanding that OpenSAML is a toolkit:

1. Has anyone attempted to interoperate with any commercial single
sign-on products?
2. After browsing this mail-list archive and other resources on
www.opensaml.org, it is unclear to me if OpenSAML/Shibboleth have
support for the browser artifact method (e.g. SAMLart=foobar on the
QueryString).  I have only seen references to POST.
