Hello IPTV Listers.

If you don't know about the Video Services Forum (VSF0), it is group of people who do digital television in the private sector - like broadcasters, cable companies and telephone companies that do video.

This meeting is at AT&T Labs in Austin.  Austin is also interesting because Google announced they will roll out Google Fiber in Austin.

This is very worthwhile if you can get the travel approval.

The VSF May Meeting Series will be held May 14 & 15, 2013.  This meeting will be hosted by AT&T Laboratories, 9505 Arboretum Blvd., Austin, Texas 78759.   The meeting is a gathering of end users, service providers, equipment manufacturers, and others involved with the world of television and video. The preliminary agenda was updated today.

 

REGISTRATION:  To register for this meeting please select the Registration add on the VSF home page.

HOUSING:  The preferred Hotel is the Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Northwest/Arboretum.  Unfortunately the VSF block of rooms are gone.
