Greetings,
The call for presenting a poster session at the Fall 2004 Member Meeting
in Austin Texas September 27- 30, 2004, is now available for
response.  The Fall Meeting will focus on innovative applications
and the underlying high-performance network infrastructures that enable
them. Participants at the Fall meeting are expected to come from wide
range of communities and disciplines.  Information about the meeting
can be found at

Poster sessions are a consciously low-tech forum for the exchange of
information and ideas about collaborations, projects and
works-in-progress. Stories are conveyed by the use of graphs, diagrams,
pictures, data, and narrative text displayed on ~4' x 3' corkboard.
Participants informally discuss their presentations with meeting
attendees during the staffed hours for poster sessions, usually breaks
and mealtimes.

Regular, Corporate and Affiliate members and international MOU partners
are welcome to submit proposals for poster sessions. 

Submission Information
Each poster submission must contain: 
Title 
Institution or organization name
Brief abstract 
Contact name and email address

Space is limited; posters will be considered on the basis of the
following criteria:
Degree of anticipated interaction and information sharing; session is
designed to promote discussion among attendees and to advance work 
Relevance to advanced networking and advanced applications; those things
that are not possible or reasonable to do with the commodity
Internet
Demonstration of the value of Internet2 to its members and to research,
teaching and learning

Notification will be sent by Monday July 26, 2004; logistical
information will be provided at that time
