SUNDAY - October 27
+ International Task Force Meeting - 1:00pm-4:30pm
Room: Garden East/West
The first part of the ITF meeting will have three presentation and discussion panels on: Regional/Continental Backbone Network Developments ; Video collaboration infrastructure and services around the world; and Middleware Developments around the world: issues in national and regional implementation and international coordination.
MONDAY - October 28

Continental Breakfast will be available starting at 7:30 a.m.
Meetings will start at 8:00 a.m. and go until noon

During the first hour, we will provide updates on resources available to partners; Abilene backbone network upgrade information and information on current interconnection facilities.

+ Supporting Research with Collaborators in Hard to Network Parts of the World - 4:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Room: Garden West
This session will provide perspectives on supporting research, clinical, teaching and learning activities in parts of the world not well served by advanced research and education networks nor, in some cases, the basic infrastructure that supports the development of such networks. We will explore efforts underway and facilitate discussion about the needs of Internet2 community research, teaching and learning collaborations in these areas and how the work of Internet2 and its partners may be leveraged to address those needs. TUESDAY - October 29
+ BoF: Follow-up Discussion on the track session Supporting Research with Collaborators in Hard to Network Parts of the World -- 7:30am-8:45am

+ Taking Advantage of Global Connectivity and Leveraging Global Collaborations - 8:45am-10:00am
Room: Westwood
This session will highlight exemplary collaborations between Internet2 members and international partners that are taking advantage of international connectivity to support research and education. In the format of 2 to 3 case studies and with a focus on advanced networking technologies such as IPv6, presenters will share their projects and lessons learned while engaging in international collaborations. Case studies include: "6NET: Europe's Native IPv6 Backbone Research Project and Less than Best Effort: Europe Deploys Scavenger," "Deploying IPv6 for iGrid2002 and lessons learned" and "iGrid 2002 Debrief."
