Dear Internet2 Community,

On behalf of the Internet2 Board of Trustees, I am excited to share that after a thorough and thoughtful search process, Tripti Sinha has been selected as the next President and CEO of Internet2. Tripti will officially begin her new role on October 15, 2025.

Tripti is a leader in engineering, operations, governance, and policy, with more than 30 years of experience dedicated to advancing cyberinfrastructure and internet technologies in research and education.

She currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at the University of Maryland, where she leads advanced cyberinfrastructure and internet global services, and as Executive Director of a multi-state regional research and education network, the Mid-Atlantic Crossroads (MAX).
