INTERNET2 TO NETCAST HIGHLIGHTS OF ITS ANNUAL SPRING MEMBER MEETING Meeting
to Address Key Advances in High Performance Networking and Applications

ANN ARBOR, MI - April 20, 2006 - Internet2 will hold its annual Spring
Member Meeting from April 24-26, 2006 in Arlington, VA. The meeting brings
together hundreds of leaders within the Internet2 research and education
community to address key advances in high performance networking and other
leading-edge Internet technologies. Internet2 will netcast live several
select sessions from its member meeting including its second general session
with a keynote address from Dr. Daniel Atkins, Director Designate of the
National Science Foundation Office of Cyberinfrastructure.

The member meeting will cover topics such as scalable next-generation
network infrastructures, advancements and adoption of middleware
capabilities, security on high-performance networks, as well as
presentations on advanced applications, and progress within the K-20
community. With attendees representing over 300 Internet2 member
institutions and partners, Internet2's 2006 Spring Meeting is among the
largest in the organization's history.
