INTERNET2 TO NETCAST HIGHLIGHTS OF ITS SEVENTH ANNUAL FALL MEMBER MEETING

AUSTIN, TX, September 27, 2004 - Internet2 today announced the launch of its annual Fall Member Meeting hosted by the University of Texas at Austin. By bringing together the leaders in advanced networking, Internet2’s annual Fall Member Meeting, which will take place from September 27-30, 2004, represents collaboration among academia, industry and government at it’s finest. With close to 700 attendees representing more than 300 universities, corporations, partners and government entities, Internet2’s 2004 meeting is the largest in the organization’s history.

Internet2 will netcast several select sessions from its member meeting including the Opening Plenary remarks by Dr. Larry Faulkner, president of The University of Texas at Austin and Douglas Van Houweling, president and CEO of Internet2.
