The Internet2 NET+ team is excited to announce NET+ Globus, a new program to support the data management and compute platform used by leading nonprofit and commercial research organizations, national laboratories, and government facilities worldwide.


Globus, a service operated by the University of Chicago, is a platform that provides advanced data management and computation capabilities to researchers, research computing managers, IT groups, and developers.

Six higher education institutions worked together to vet Globus service features and functionality, negotiate terms and pricing, and champion future product enhancements on behalf of the research and education community.
