Program Speakers at Internet2 Global Summit

Greetings,

 

Thank you for agreeing to present a talk at this year’s Technology Exchange. Please note that – this year – all presenters must provide their own laptops; Internet2 will provide a VGA cable, power, and an Ethernet drop at the podium in each room. Presenters should bring a dongle and be ready to plug in before presenting. Internet2 staff will be in each room to assist, if needed.

 

Please check that information for your session in the online agenda is correct and let us know if changes should be made. To ensure the best participant experience, we strive to post session-related materials and slides on-or-before the actual presentation. To help us achieve this goal: 

 

1.       Information on best practices for presentations, naming conventions and appropriate file types to submit, and overall speaker guidelines can be found at: << https://meetings.internet2.edu/2017-technology-exchange/attendee-information/speaker-information/ >>.  

2.       Presentations must be submitted on or before Wednesday, October 11 (refer to section Preparing and Submitting your Presentation, taking care to format/name your presentation as described to ensure posting in a timely manner).  Please take a moment to submit your presentations as soon as possible. 

3.       Updating versions — if you submit a version by October 11, it will be linked off the online agenda as well as ready for your presentation when you arrive; if you need to provide an updated version, please ensure you have RENAMED your material (I.e., add “v1” to existing name) to ensure the correct version is posted to the online agenda.

4.       If you have not yet registered, please register at: << http://meetings.internet2.edu/2017-technology-exchange/attendee-information/registration/ >>.  This will save you time when checking in at the Registration Desk and will ensure that your name badge is prepared in advance.  

5.       We ask that our attendees wear their name badge while on-site; if you lose your badge, a replacement will be provided at the registration desk.  

6.       If you are aware of any speakers in your session not listed on the program, please forward this notification and let me know of any changes (include name, organization, and email), to ensure the online program is accurate.
