InCommon Virtual Training – Registration is Open!

 

Looking for some social interaction with your friends in Identity Access Management? Ready to get your hands dirty in a VM while learning the InCommon Trusted Access Platform directly from the experts? If so, keep on reading.

 

Join us for virtual training workshops that will lead you through installing and configuring COmanage, Grouper, and midPoint. Leverage the flexibility of learning from your remote office (no judgement here if you attend in your gym shorts paired with a suit jacket). Save tuition dollars by enrolling during the early bird windows.

 

COmanage Class - May 19-20 - COmanage is an identity registry with flexible enrollment and lifecycle management capabilities. The two-day class covers deploying and configuring COmanage, as well as how to model your organization or collaboration for best results. Early bird rates end next week (May 9th). 

 

Grouper School - June 2-3 - Grouper is the enterprise access management software that offers management of groups, roles, and permissions. The two-day workshop focuses on core Grouper features.

 

midPoint Basics - June 16-18 - midPoint is a general purpose IdM and governance system noted for its ability to synchronize and reconcile among systems of record and identity sources. The three-day virtual class will cover installation and configuration, as well as tips on configuring resources and creating organizational structures.

 

Curriculum details and registration are available for all of these classes. Stay tuned for information on a virtual Shibboleth class - it will be released later this summer. 

 

For those interested in a collaborative training and implementation program to advance your project plans, the Collaboration Success Program (CSP) is accepting applications. CSP participants engage in training workshops in preparing to work together to solve an IAM challenge. As part of the program, participants will develop a roadmap and have access to experts such as identity architects and seasoned implementation practitioners to jump start their solutions.
