I would generally expect an upgrade from 2.4.0 to 2.5.38 to “just work”.
You may need to read/do the “Database upgrade.” Section. Maybe….

Does the JDBC user have full/all privileges to all objects in the grouper DB? ( Maybe something is a missing/wrong there?)
Can you confirm that the JDBC user is the DB owner and the owner of the grouper_groups_v view object?

And I am not a “oracle DB user” ( in a while )  So this may be off base on this one…( I did not go find docs to check… )
Is the JDBC connection string correct?
Should there be a user name before the “@” in that string?

I am trying to work through the level 1 manually guide and I get errors when the ddl to update the db runs. Here is my stack trace:

I just chose the latest release 2.5.39 for my image. Do I maybe just need to go back a few versions to get the 2.4 to 2.5 database upgrade?
