Greetings to Raleigh! I'm an NC State alum :-).
In the second case, if you create a typical include/exclude group setup, say,
groupA
groupA_include
groupA_exclude
Then you can add groups B, C and D to your groupA_exclude
For the first, I'm not aware of any way to get an intersection of three groups without intermediate groups, though more experienced Grouper admins might have some suggestions. It might also be possible to leverage the Rules API to add a person to group D, for instance, once they have been added to Groups A, B, and C.

Hi,We're proceeding with the implementation of our Grouper instance, and are at a point where we need to create composite groups. From what we see in Grouper, if there are 3 groups, say A, B, and C, the only way to make an intersection of these 3 groups is to first create a composite intersection of groups A and B, and then another composite intersection group of the intersection group and C. Is there another way to achieve this sort of thing, preferably without having to create intermediate composite groups?Same thing about complements: from what we see, we can only create a complement group of 2 individual groups at one time. Is there a way to get complements of more than 2 groups at one time, like say members or group A who are not in groups B, C, and D, without having to create intermediate composite groups? Thanks,Prasad
