I’ve run the post upgrade scripts, now the loader jobs are present. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

No, I probably should have mentioned that, I pointed the installer to the original installation directories and the installer would come back that it wasn’t a valid installation. What I did then was use the installer to create a new installation and then reconfigure the connection parameters to look at the original DB and looked over the release notes to see what to do. However I may have missed something as we jumped several versions.

 

Can I run the post install script after the fact?

Was the installer used to upgrade?   If so, that should have run the post install gsh script to do the attribute migration.  If not, then those post upgrade scripts would need to run for each version upgrade.

Shilen, did upgrading so many versions cause a problem here?

 

Jeffrey, if you send me the contents of grouper_attribute_legacy in a spreadsheet I might be able to get you some GSH that will restore it.

This is interesting, I found the following two commands in the ddl update script:

 

create table grouper_attributes_legacy as (select * from grouper_attributes);

drop table grouper_attributes cascade constraints;

 

looks pretty deliberate, does that mean we have to migrate them to a newer format first?

No, it should work I think.

 

Do you see them under misc -> Loader?

 

In the views about attributes and values do you see entries for the group_id?

Hey Team,

 

Is there a special process we need to do when upgrading grouper to migrate our old loader jobs? Or at least have them be displayed. We are using the new UI and when we open groups that should have loader SQL statements, we get the screen that says “This group does not have loader configuration.”
