Hi Bert,
We are having issues with GRP-1533 still and to get around this I run the PSP bulksync on a nightly basis and this unstucks the changelog. A feature that I use all the time is the targeted sync (gsh -psp -sync <groupid>), again, if grouper is stuck and a user needs their group sync to grouper so they don't have to wait until the bulksync finishes.
thanks,
Julio

Hi Dave,
For GRP-1533 consider using some variation on the following with ‘replace’ as a means of getting to 2.4 until a more permanent fix is available. The idea would be to replace the string in dn: where , would be \, or whatever you need to solve your problem.
I hope this helps.

Hi BertWe’re still keen to upgrade (from 2.2.2) and take advantage of PSPNG’s better performance but the blockers for us are GRP-1533 and GRP-1346.Thanks

Subject: [grouper-users] Poll: Grouper 2.4 and (Old) PSPHello Grouper Users,TL;DR: What does PSPNG need so that PSP is not necessary in Grouper 2.4?The longer form...We know that PSPNG was designed and written to be less flexible than PSP, but that it should grow to handle the necessary use cases and replace PSP over time.[1] I know we're not there right now, but that we're pretty close. The purpose of this email is to identify what needs to change in PSPNG and see if we can make Grouper 2.4's PSPNG ready so that PSP doesn't have to be included/supported in 2.4. Yes, this conversation should have happened earlier, but it's better late than never.So... If you're using the old PSP...What features do you use within PSP that are missing in PSPNG?What bugs does PSPNG have that keep you from migrating to it from PSP?What is your timeline for upgrading to Grouper 2.4?We can use this thread to communicate and/or I've created Jira GRP-1906 to tabulate the requirements for development. Thanks much,
