Hello,

I have again attempted to upgrade a large Grouper 2.3 DEV tier
deployment that makes heavy use of the loader from API patch 58. I
patched today to API patch 107.

I did not make any changes to the grouper-loader.properties file or the
grouper.hibernate.properties file.

With API patch 58 when the loader is running the load reported by tools
like 'uptime' reports a load of 6 to 11, depending on precisely which
loader jobs happen to be running over the course of an hour.

With API patch 107 the load ranges from 15 to 71, with the average more
waited around 50 during the course of an hour.

Other than the change on the load, the loader appears to run normally
and the system does not appear to consume more memory or CPU than
before.

The team in charge of the VM would like some explanation of why the
upgrade has resulted in a change in the load before we can make these
changes to PROD. 

I have three questions:

1) Can the Grouper team provide an explanation of why the load has
increased after patching?

2) Is this large increase in load expected?

3) Are there changes I should make in grouper-loader.properties or
grouper.hibernate.properties that might help?

I will send my grouper-loader.properties and
grouper.hibernate.properties to Chris and Shilen.
