I would create that group and leave it empty (no members).

 

If you want to try to blank it out, add this to grouper-ws.properties:

 

ws.act.as.group =

 

Not sure if that is allowed or not…

We’re having a hard time getting an account working with grouper-ws.  It looks like it can authenticate successfully, but web calls result in the following error:

We have operational grouper-ws accounts.  Comparing them with this account doesn’t show anything obviously different.

 

Our grouper installation does not have an etc:webServiceActAsGroup.  Our department grouper-ws account is in etc:sysadmingroup;  We don’t want to add this new account to the sysadmin group, because it’s for another department and should have limited permissions.

 

Any clue would be helpful.
