yeah.. the logs should not be there. I will fix that.

Thanks, I am new to tomcatee and never considered logs would be in /bin/logs. I was just looking in tomcatee/logs…

Did you install grouper-ws-scim using the installer?

 

I will fix the log4j configuration to have a separate file. In my catalina.out, I have: 

 

Grouper is logging to file:   /Users/vsachdeva/Downloads/apache-tomee-webprofile-7.0.0/bin/logs/grouper_error.log 

 

Do you also have a line like above and if yes, can you paste/attach the log file?

We are trying to get ws-scim up and but have run into a road block.

 

This call

/grouper-ws-scim/Schemas returns successfully

 

However this call fails: /grouper-ws-scim/Groups/systemName:ref:mygroup

Now some of the examples show a /v2/ in the path, so I tried: /grouper-ws-scim/v2/Groups/systemName:ref:mygroup

 

But that resulted in a 500 error:

 

javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter execution threw an exception

        edu.psu.swe.scim.server.filter.ApiOriginFilter.doFilter(ApiOriginFilter.java:21)

root cause

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class edu.internet2.middleware.grouper.subj.CachingResolver

I can’t figure out what I need to set in log4j.properties to capture additional information.

Also all logging seems to be going to catalina.out, there is not a separate directory for ws-scim logs like there is for the UI and the regular WS.

Any tips or tricks appreciated.
