Probably, this isn't going to move that fast. We do have a SQL DB that could be used to have a lookup, so a workaround is possible. But I can imagine more people liking to connect to something like that (fast and yet not LDAP :) )

I'm not sure we can spare anyone to work on a connector at this point but I'll ask, thanks for pointing out where it is.
