Hello,

 

I’m trying to do something so embarrassingly simple, but I can’t get it to work! I’m wanting to finally convert our sources.xml to the new subject.properties format. It seems straightforward, here’s what I’ve done:

 

# Java –jar grouperInstaller.jar

I selected the following:

‘admin’

‘upgradeTask’

‘convertSourcesXmlToProperties’

 

Enter location of the sources.xml file: /services/iam-grouper/opt/grouper/conf

Enter the location of the subject.base.properties file [/services/iam-grouper/opt/grouper/subject.properties]:   (I leave this blank to accept the default)

 

It promptly fails with:

 

[Fatal Error] :1:1: Content is not allowed in prolog.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: Problem evaluating xpath: , _expression_: '/sources/source',

…

 

 

I’ve verified API Patch 40 is installed, the location of sources.xml and confirmed I have no errant or pre-existing subject.properties or subject.base.properties to get in the way.  Any ideas what I’m doing wrong here?

 

I suppose I can set out to manually craft the subject.properties file, but thought this would be easier.
