Hi Chad,

    Thanks for your valuable time and information. I checked.

 

1.       We are using 2.2.0. We didn’t do any API patching.

2.       We don’t have a grouperPatchStatus.properties file under webapps\grouper.apiBinary-2.2.0

3.       We don’t have  property for "grouperInstallerLastFixedIndexFile.date" anywhere.

 

4.       We do have webapps\grouper.apiBinary-2.2.0\dist\lib\grouper.jar .

 

5.       Only 2 manifest.mf file we have is

 

apache-tomcat-6.0.43\webapps\grouper-ws\META-INF, which has the following entries.

 

Manifest-Version: 1.0

Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.9.2

Created-By: 1.6.0_91-b13 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

 

                apache-tomcat-6.0.43\webapps\grouper\META-INF, which has the following entries.

apache-tomcat-6.0.43\webapps\grouper\META-INF

Manifest-Version: 1.0

Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.9.2

Created-By: 1.6.0_91-b13 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

Are you on 2.2.0 or 2.2.2? Did you do any API patching??

 

Do you have a grouperPatchStatus.properties file under webapps\grouper.apiBinary-2.2.0?

 

If so, is there a property for "grouperInstallerLastFixedIndexFile.date"?

 

If not, does webapps\grouper.apiBinary-2.2.0\dist\lib\grouper.jar exist?

 

That particular error gets triggered only when the patch property file is missing, the property is missing or the property is before 9/29/2015, and grouper.jar is missing or is missing a version in the manifest.

 We are trying to upgrade using the installer from grouper version 2.2.0 to grouper version 2.3.0.  We are getting the following error
