I noticed an odd issue and I hope someone can point me in the right direction 
here.

I can get the "View Audit Log" function to work for any stem(folder) via the 
UI.
        It takes a variable time (5-40'ish) seconds, but it works.
        All stems that I have tested have worked.


For some reason ( no errors found in any logs so far) I cannot get the "View 
Audit Log" function to work for any groups via the UI. 
        The behavior is to have the browser "spin" for 30 seconds and then 
get routed to " 
/grouperExternal/public/UiV2Public.index?operation=UiV2Public.postIndex&function=UiV2Public.error&code=ajaxError".
                I altered my apache (front ending tomcat) config to up the 
ProxyTimeout from 30 seconds up to 3600 seconds.
                Now it spins for 180 seconds then I get routed to the same 
URL.
        All groups that I have tested fail in this manner. ( Including a 
group that I just created. )

Given that it looks like the application is throwing an "ajax error" and 
routing me to an application specific page, I tend to think it is a setting 
somewhere in the application. ( like a timeout setting. However, that then 
poses the idea that my performance is not optimal / at an expected level..... 
) 

Any ideas where the problem is?
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot the issue?
