I'm still in the grouper learning curve.  I apologize if this is naive.

We have 1.2M individuals in our registry, of which ~550k of them are persons of interest (they have active affiliations with the U).

Rather than defining individual group queries and having to search that 550k population repeatedly, is it / would it be possible to query the "people" branch and  glean all of the information that's useful for creating / maintaining groups?
