What is your goal?  Get 2.2.2 up and running with mysql?

I have just tried it with the default database too but it is still trying to install the non-existing patch. I’m a bit stumped by this.

 

I have changed databases earlier in the way you recommended. So, if I’m able to install grouper 2.2.2, I can migrate the database as you suggested.

I don’t think you can do that offline… can you do that by downloading?  I would install it with the default database.  Keep track of the output so you know how to do stuff, then change the connect string in grouper.hibernate.properties and user/pass for mysql…  then init the registry to make the tables.  Ok?

Hi,

I’m trying to install Grouper 2.2.2 on one of our new servers through the offline installer but it keeps on trying to install patches that don’t exist and throws exceptions. I’m using the following command

 

sudo java -cp .:grouperInstaller.jar edu.internet2.middleware.grouperInstaller.GrouperInstaller

 

Do I need to pass any parameters to the command or add to the grouper.installer.properties file so that it knows which patches exist and which patches don’t?
