PSP has known issues with 8 and scripted attributes that are shipped. Last mod was to issue a warning when 8 is in use. To get them working, you either have to remove the scripts, or install Java’s Rhino into the deployment env. 

 

Do we know if 2.3 will have PSPNG? 

 

n  From chris, yes, 2.3 will have pspng, though it is obviously a new component that needs its tires kicked

Just to be clear (and pedantic):

 

Will Java 8 work with the PSP that is deployed by the grouperInstaller.jar for version 2.2.2? Version 2.3?

 

In the past it has not.

Hi,

 

   We are currently planning to bring up Grouper at our institution using Grouper version 2.2.2.

 

   I know that grouper 2.3 is coming out this month. Anyone knows if Grouper 2.3 will officially support Java 8? We are trying to decide if it is worthwhile to wait for v2.3
