I have meanwhile found out that my problem has something to do with groups in
groups. In our system just personal members (immediate and effective) are
provisioned to the ldap, no groups in groups. Therefore the error message:
The groups in groups are of course not found. What we need are flattened
memberships, I suppose.

I have understood that there is a possibility to provide flattened
memberships in grouper-loader.properties, however that just affects the
change log, i.e. the provisioning via loader, not the initial bulkSync. But I
think I must first do a bulkSync before I can use the change log
functionality. And the bulkSync crashes after a few minutes.

Probably editing psp-resolver.xml and/or psp.xml would help, but my attempts
(e.g. modifying the GroupDataConnector) were not successful. Unfortunately I
could not find a solution in the grouper wiki. Can you help me?

Regards,

Jutta

Betreff: [grouper-users] Wrong Stems are provisioned

I have a phenomenon with the psp here I can't explain (version 2.1.5).

We have four main stems in our grouper hierarchy - "admin", "targets",
"sources" and "organisations".

In ldap.properties I determine the stem to be provisioned:

########################################
edu.internet2.middleware.psp.baseStem=targets
########################################

However, the log file runs full with entries of this kind:

###########################################
2015-04-15 11:20:53,123: [main] WARN PsoReference.getReferences(137) - -
Pso reference 'membersGsa' - Unable to resolve identifier
'sources:his-fub:mathematik_u._informatik:informatik:promotion'
2015-04-15 11:20:53,124: [main] ERROR Psp.execute(1015) - - Psp 'psp' - Calc
CalcResponse[id=sources:his-fub:philosoph._u.geisteswiss.:arts_and_media_admin
.:promotion,status=failure,error=noSuchIdentifier,errorMessages={Unable to
calculate provisioned object.},requestID=2015/04/15-11:20:53.123]
############################################

Maybe I'm erring, but to me it seems that the psp tries to provision others
than just the target stem. Is that a bug? Did I make a mistake? Can I avoid
that anyhow?

Regards,

Jutta
