Ok I removed the mail-1.4.1.jar file now I get this when I try to load grouper.war:

 

INFO: validateJarFile(/opt/uofu/tomcat/apache-tomcat-7.0.57/webapps/grouper/WEB-INF/lib/servlet-api-2.5.jar) - jar not loaded. See Servlet Spec 3.0, section 10.7.2. Offending

class: javax/servlet/Servlet.class

I would backup and remove the conflicting jars from "custom" and try it again :)

 

We can look to see why there is a conflicting jar (probably from PSP somewhere?  )

I have just started working with Grouper 2.2.1

 

The quick install went well and the UI came up just fine. But I wanted to add CAS SSO so I edited the web.core.xml and rebuilt the UI using an “ant war” command in the grouper.ui-2.2.1 directory.

 

When I load the new grouper.war in tomcat I get this error:

 

Grouper warning: jarfile mismatch, expecting name: 'mailapi.jar' size: 178533 manifest version: 1.3.2.  However the jar detected is: /opt/uofu/tomcat/apache-tomcat-7.0.57/web

apps/grouper/WEB-INF/lib/mail-1.4.1.jar, name: mail-1.4.1.jar size: 447676 manifest version: 1.4.1

I see that in my WEB-INF/lib dir I have both 'mailapi.jar' and : mail-1.4.1.jar and smpt.jar.

 

I know the build process gets these files from the grouer.api-2.2.1 lib directory.

 

Anyway mailapi.jar and smpt.jar are in lib/grouper while mail-1.4.1.jar is in lib/custom.

 

What am I doing wrong?
