Sure, I would just call: GrouperSession.internal_callbackRootGrouperSession(GrouperSessionHandler grouperSessionHandler) Grouper uses that strategy often. For instance, user logs in, Grouper needs to see if it is a root user, needs to check the wheel group. But that user cant

On Behalf Of Sachdeva, Vivek Hi, I have a use case where I need to perform a specific action (Update membership) but the user does not have the direct privilege to do so. I do not want to assign
the privilege because there are other actions which will be enabled by that. What would be the best way to achieve it? I am thinking that may be I can start a root session and then after performing the required action, I can stop the session. Thanks, Vivek |
