Hmmm, I only have a grouper-ws.war.

 

I didn’t actually do the build, I had my intern do it following the directions on the wiki. As far as I know just did an “ant dist”.

 

I’ll go back and re-read the wiki and see if I can find where we went wrong.

Your warfile is grouperWs and not grouper-ws right?

 

Can you get to the static resources?  (put an test.html in the webapps/grouperWs dir and try:

 

http://appserv02-test.idm.utah.edu:8080/grouperWs/test.html

 

Not a firewall problem, right?  Try this from the box:

 

wget http://localhost:8080/grouperWs/status?diagnosticsType=all

 

Is there anything else running in that particular tomcat?  i.e. if you put the UI there, can you get to that from your browser?

I finally got around to building an installing the web service. I have installed it on the same server as my UI.

 

But when I enter http://appserv02-test.idm.utah.edu:8080/grouperWs/status?diagnosticsType=all (or any one of the diagnosticTypes) all I get is a blank screen.

 

I don’t see any errors in any of the grouper log files or catalina.out.

 

Any hints appreciated.
