When you do a register check, and there is a DDL to run, it will make a file for you in the ddlScripts dir. Or if you do a -runscript, it will just run it for you. Maybe you installed the DB from one location,
and deployed the WS/UI/loader in another location, then those scripts wont be there… you don’t really need them after you run them. You can generate them again. Thanks, Chris From: [mailto:]
On Behalf Of Bryan E. Wooten Hi all, I am reviewing my notes for installing Grouper and am confused by my note. I have this:
1.
Follow instructions:
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/Grouper/Grouper+book+-+Setting+up+the+repository+database
a.
./gsh.sh -registry – check
What is weird is that I can’t find any ddl files in the working directories where I did the ant build for both the UI and api. Yet on the server where I am actually running Grouper I have a ddlScripts sub-dir with 2 ddl scripts. I have
no idea where they came from. And I can’t tell by their names which one I should run or in what order. grouperDdl_20130815_14_37_19_615.sql grouperDdl_20130816_10_42_59_350.sql I searched wiki can’t seem to find any other information. Please help me clear up my confusion. Thanks, Bryan |
