Objet : [grouper-users] error message when trying to fix the registry

When I type the following to fix the registry: 
./gsh new
edu.internet2.middleware.grouper.misc.AddMissingGroupSets().addAllMissingGroup
Sets();

I get the message: -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
