Hi, Chris,
Thank-you so much for your reply. It is good to know ths information is available by communicating with the web services API. I have an open ticket with our identify management team to identify the path to our web services endpoint; from what I can tell it is not published at the 'default' location specified here;
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/Grouper/Grouper+Web+Services#
I must bear my naked soul here and say that I've never done any real web services API programming, so my methodology of contacting this endpoint may very well be off :-) I'll see what our IDM team says about the URL to this and try taking the approach that you suggested. Thank-you for your time and for answering my question.

Thanks,

Subject: [grouper-users] Quick Question
HI, Grouper Users,
This is a fairly straightforward question; hopefully somebody will be
able to help me answer this with relative ease; is it possible to
determine the version of an existing grouper implementation from the
grouper UI (as an end user)? Thank-you so much for your time in
helping me answer this question.
