The quickstart is deprecated and not included in 2.1.  The installer is how 
you should get something running.

At this point you can use 2.0.3 or 2.1.0:

http://www.internet2.edu/grouper/release/2.0.3/grouperInstaller.jar

-or even better-

http://www.internet2.edu/grouper/release/2.1.0/grouperInstaller.jar

If things go ok, you can have the api, ws, ui, client, loader, and psp up in 
5 minutes, with the only prerequisite being java6 sdk. :)

Command line:

java -jar grouperInstaller.jar

This package contains a README.html file at the root. This seems to have 
instructions for installing and using the QS... but some of the info 
makes me wonder ...

is this file the instructions I should use to just get a 
proof-of-concept Grouper instance running ?
