Is that from ant or gsh or tomcat?  Basically you need to set a java switch to increase the perm gen memory.

 

-XX:MaxPermSize=150m

 

You can edit the gsh file you are running, or the tomcat start file, or for ant there is an ANT_OPTS env var to set…

Thanks for the help.  Now I get the following though:
 java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space...any idea on this?

You don't type the number - rather the name that follows - so, for '1', you should type 'default' - which is the actual name of a target in the build.xml file.

The build.properties looks ok.
