We're trying to use the change log to implement near-realtime group 
provisioning, and as part of that, using group types and attributes to 
control provisioning. We get change log entries when a type is added or 
removed from a group. However, as far as I can tell, no change log 
entries are generated for changes to group attributes.

The use case for this is that we use the group type "GoogleGroup" to 
specify that a group should be provisioned to Google Groups. We want to 
allow the group name in Google to be different than the Grouper group 
name. We planned to do that by having a "googleName" attribute 
associated with the "GoogleGroup" type. The attribute would contain the 
group name to use for Google. However, that won't work if we don't get 
change log entries for group attribute additions, changes, and deletions.

If this doesn't work with the change log now, would it be feasible to 
add? Any other ideas for a solution? We have the requirement that it 
must be possible to use the Grouper UI to manage the name we use for the 
Google group.
