Resolved the issue – used existing test account from LDAP– added it to the wheel group using Gsh – working cool  J

Thanks,

Grouper just gets the ID from REMOTE_USER, so it doesn’t know which source its in, so it checks them all.  It cant exist in multiple.  Either you need to determine which other source besides g:isa (grouper internal source adapter) GrouperSystem is in, and remove it, or maybe you could use a real user account, add them to the wheel group, and that is equivalent to using GrouperSystem…  generally you only need to login with GrouperSystem to bootstrap, but not for steadystate operation.  Ok?  J

Thanks,

Chris

Subject: [grouper-users] Login Error

I’ve been running Grouper UI locally on tomcat w/ Eclipse for weeks and now suddenly I’m getting this error, even though GrouperSystem is listed in tomcat-users:

Error:

  • Cant find login subject: GrouperSystem, ADMIN_UI
  • If you continue to encounter errors, please contact technical support.

What is happening here?  Is Grouper searching for the subject in the LDAP directory?

Thanks,

Lawrence
