Yes, you can do this in Lite, or non-Lite by passing a stem lookup and stem
scope to getMembers. Let me know if you need an example or something...

Hi,
Is there a quick way to determine the groups of a user given we have
both the stem and the users id using the REST api? It currently seems
only possible to query all groups of a user and then loop over the
result to determine what stem these are in. This is rather costly. Are
we missing something?
